BUZZING in Roscoe Village

BUZZING in Roscoe Village

My gunpowder and fuse painting,  BUZZING, was successfully auctioned at Inspiration Corporation's ONE INSPIRED EVENING charity event this past Friday evening.  Over 600 people attended the event and bid on over 100 works of art.

My son, Mike,  and his fiance, Kara were at the event and indicated the bright orange and textured BUZZING gathered a lot of attention and conversation among those in attendance.  The piece was located in a featured position in the middle front of the display area and was sold for one of the higher prices.

Here is what the new buyers, who live in a converted pencil factory in Roscoe Village, had to say, "Hey Stick! My husband and I won the piece. It was a fierce, nail-biting bidding war, lots of people wanted to take this fella home. It created a real BUZZ at the event! We love it and have already hung it up, will send a photo. Thanks for donating your art, the inspiration corporation is an amazing organization, and your generosity helped support its important work. Boom on!"

I am thrilled for the new buyers and that my work and Stick Vega Studios can support a great cause.
