Burning Nudes (This Girl Is On Fire)!
Once in while I explode a nude. I feel bad about it. I hope it doesn't hurt. And, am I being misogynistic? I don’t think so. Seriously, I’m not angry at women or anything. And I do things to support women’s rights. I’ll probably vote for Hillary. A woman President would be cool.
Sometimes I look at old cave art of humans and think this is where it all started. Cavemen drawing nudes. Good work. Although everyone was nearly nude, right.? They probably didn’t call them “nudes”. I wonder if they were "selfies". I wonder if Caveman "advertisers" stepped in with a hammer and chisel to "retouch" the drawings. Some ad execs I know certainly behave like cavemen. Better to send women on lingerie photo shoots.
Tens of thousands of nude paintings have been created over time. Some have more meaning than others. Being nude is about being human. The human form is seductive, beautiful and fascinating. Nudes can be sexy. Worthy of an explosion.
Alicia Keys sang in Girl On Fire:
“Looks like a girl, but she’s a flame , so bright, she can burn your eyes”
and
“She just a girl and she’s on fire.”
So I light the fuse.
And, literally, that girl is on fire!
