New Horror Script In The Works! The Coulee!

Man, it’s been a busy Fall.

On top of all the new paintings, fusographs and sculptures in the works, we started work this week on a new screenplay. (It’s easier to write than blow up paintings when winter hits.)

A low budget, indie horror film!

Boom!

My brother, Butch, and I are working through a number of story ideas, characters and locations.

Our hope is to shoot the film in Wisconsin, perhaps in the scary hills near our home town of Viroqua. The beautiful and brutal driftless region.

Here is one idea.

The Coulee

A group of Millennials from LA travel to the beautiful and remote Driftless region of Wisconsin for a barn wedding. Nature, the locals and an unseen, devilish presence in the woods - the Coulee - conspire against them.  Increasingly disturbing discoveries lead them to a truth they could never have imagined and a fight for survival and for their souls.

Let us know what you think. Or please share if you know of some terrifying locations, stories, or events that might inspire us.
