Inspired Art Jury Selects Stick Vega!

The Blast Factory was informed yesterday that my explosion artwork "I LOVE YOU WHEN YOU ARE BURNING FLOWERS"  was chosen for One Inspired Evening.  We are thrilled. This is our second year. It is a fun event, run by great people, for a good cause. Here is the emaiI we received.

"Dear Stick,

Congratulations, your piece of art, “I LOVE YOU WHEN YOU ARE BURNING FLOWERS” has been chosen by the art jury for One Inspired Evening!  The event will be held on Friday, March 7 from 6-10pm at the Stephen M. Bailey Auditorium at the Chicago Journeymen Plumbers Union Hall, located at 1340 W. Washington Blvd.

Thank you for your submission!  All the money raised from One Inspired Evening will go directly to support Inspiration Corporation programs and our mission to help people affected by homelessness and poverty attain self-sufficiency."

Created late in 2013, "I LOVE YOU WHEN YOU ARE BURNING FLOWERS"  is 24" x 24".  It is made of high speed fuses and acrylic paint on hardboard panel, and finished with a secondary blast of gunpowder.
